Formative painting done during my years spent in Milan Italy. Original painting was painted with brush with oils onto canvas. The sky was done with palette knife. My idea was to capture the contrast between the warm polluted sky and the cold frosty landscape. The verticals and horizontals create space within a space, framing lots of individual images within the same composition.
